Running A Car On Water

Running A Car On Water

People around the globe are looking for alternative options that can substitute fuel gas, which is consumed on a large scale by the population for running their vehicles. As a result, fossil fuel is becoming scarce on our planet and the day is not far when it will not be available any more. Also scientists are looking for ways to make our vehicles environment friendly.

One solution is to use hydrogen as a replacement for gas. This has given a new face to the 'running a car on water' movement. To use hydrogen energy in your car, you can use either the conversion method or you can purchase a car, which will use hydrogen. The conversion method is more advantageous than going for a brand new hydrogen powered vehicle.

The risk involved in using hydrogen as fuel is much higher as compared to normal fuel-based vehicles because hydrogen is highly inflammable. The car you own is not hydrogen based one. So for running such a car you will need fuel and also hydrogen.

Electrolysis will separate the water molecules and you get a mixed gas called Oxyhydrogen (HHO), which is used for the combustion. So the idea is to install an electrolysis system in your vehicle, which enables the production of HHO. You can get the installation kit in most hardware shops along with the instructions to convert your car so that it can run on water. But many people are still apprehensive about this and studies are going on to enhance the effectiveness of this method.

Once this phenomenon becomes popular and people more readily accept this technique, they can avoid making regular trips to the gas station and also save their hard earned money.

If you are willing to pay a bulk amount for a brand new normal car, then I am sure you wouldn't mind paying the same to get yourself a hydrogen powered car. Even though they are expensive, they promise to help you save huge bucks in the future by cutting down your expenses on fuel. There are hardly any disadvantages of running a car on water as of now. Even if one could think of any, the advantages are so many that it will overshadow any disadvantages.
